Kitty S. Lansdale, President

After graduating from Smith College, Kitty Lansdale moved to Australia where she worked for two years as a newspaper reporter for the Brisbane Bureau of The Australian. Upon relocating to Washington, DC in 1974, she worked briefly for ABC News and then joined a small public relations firm, Gerald Wagner & Associates, that focused primarily on charity fundraising events like the annual United Nations Concert and Dinner.

In 1978, when Gerald Wagner & Associates closed, Kitty was hired by the United Nations Association of the USA to be its Director of Special Events and run UNA's annual fundraising event and diplomatic gala in Washington, the UN Concert & Dinner, which featured a Kennedy Center Concert followed by a black-tie dinner hosted each year by the Secretary of State.

When Lansdale Associates was formed in 1983, Kitty was hired by the United Nations Association as a consultant to continue organizing the UN Concerts & Dinners, which she managed for 18 years. Since its founding, Lansdale Associates has grown tremendously with three full-time employees and a broad range of prominent clients and events.
